Financial Policy Insurance

The initial appointment fee will be quoted to you when you schedule your examination and consultation appointment.  Fees may vary depending on your specific diagnostic testing needs.  Treatment fees will always be given to you before treatment begins.

If you have medical insurance, we will file this for you as a courtesy since Dr. Steed is not a provider for any specific medical insurance companies.   Since the TMJ is a joint, medical insurance is usually filed before dental insurance is submitted.   Payment for the initial examination appointment is due at the time of the examination.  If treatment is needed, various fee schedule options will be offered. 

Please bring your insurance cards (both medical and dental) during your initial examination appointment so we can try to expedite insurance reimbursement.  For your convenience we accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard and Discover cards.  We also provide various options with Care Credit, which is a national financing company designed to help patients obtain funding for treatment.
