As an eminent specialist, she has lectured extensively both domestically and internationally.

Dr. Steed began her career in dentistry as a dental hygienist, who coincidentally experienced a TMJ Disorder as a teenager. As a hygienist, Dr. Steed encountered many patients who suffered from TMJ Disorder, thus motivating her to reassess her vocational goals and continue her education by enrolling in the Indiana University School of Dentistry and earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS), Master of Science in Oral Medicine/Oral Diagnosis/Oral Pathology degrees (MSD). Understandably, her empathy and compassion for her patients results from her personal experience with TMJ Disorder.

The constantly evolving diagnostic and treatment modalities in the field of craniofacial pain demands frequent attendance at symposia, continuing education courses and pertinent workshops in order to keep abreast of her field. This focus and attentiveness to her area of interest is what keeps Dr. Steed current and able to provide the most up-to-date diagnostic measures and treatment methods available today.
